E Komo Mai!
We are thrilled you are here
Hawaii Distance Learning Forum Guidelines
We need your help to keep Hawaii Distance Learning Forum as valuable, authentic, and safe as possible. Here are our guidelines:
Be supportive. Encourage and support your fellow members. No one here is looking for your criticism, cynicism, advice, or judgment. (We can get those things on the rest of the Internet).
Share generously. Your stories and experiences may be exactly what another member needs to hear today to solve a problem in their classroom or at their school.
Celebrate each other. Our community continually learns and shares. Let’s acknowledge and give credit to those who inspire our ideas!
Be constructive. We’re here to push each other forward and lift each other up. Find ways to help each other think bigger, reframe challenges, and stay curious.
Don’t spam, promote, or troll. This community exists to help you learn. It’s not a place to spam, promote your services, or bully anyone else.
Hopefully, these should be easy agreements. If you think you’ll be unable to abide by these guidelines, let us know and we’re happy to remove you.
First Things First
If you are comfortable, we’d love for you to introduce yourself on the community Activity Feed. Why did you become a teacher? What’s your favorite way to self-care? What’s your current guilty pleasure? Who inspires you? Why?
One More Thing
Please complete your profile. We’ve extended your profile to include School, Grade, Complex, Area of Expertise and more!
We're Glad You're Here
We’re pretty excited about what we’re creating here together in Hawaii Distance Learning Forum. If there’s anything you’d like to see or if you have questions, message us at any time.
